CRC delegation at the commemoration for Bleiburg genocide

The Croatian Royal Council attended the commemoration of the victims of Bleiburg and the Way's of the Cross (Bleiburg genocide) at Mirogoj in Zagreb.

The 81st anniversary of Bleiburg and the Ways of the Cross, organized by the Honorary Bleiburg Platoon, was held in the presence of delegations from the government, the Parliament, and various organizations and political parties, who laid wreaths and lit candles at the central cross. A prayer for all Croatian victims was offered by His Excellency Jure Bogdan, the Military Ordinary, while a dova (Islamic prayor) prayer was offered for Croatian Muslims by a representative of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in Croatia.

The laying of wreaths and candles with a prayer at the monument to Bleiburg and the Stations of the Cross at Mirogoj was organized by the Croatian Domobran, and was attended by many associations, organizations, and parties. Members of the Croatian Royal Council lit candles and participated in the commemoration for all victims.
