Croatian Royal Council

The Croatian Royal Council (abbreviated HKRV) is an association of citizens and descendants of nobles that brings together supporters of our thousand-year history of Croatian kingdoms, principalities and banovines. Our noble, civic and folk culture, tradition and art, Central European and Mediterranean affiliation and Christian foundations. The name is historically based on the Royal Council in the kingdoms of Dalmatia, Croatia and Slavonia (Consilium Regium Croaticum) founded in 1767. The name in foreign languages is Latin. Consilium Regium Croaticum, English. Croatian Royal Council. The center of the association is located in Zagreb, while it has branches throughout the homeland.

The main goal of the Croatian Royal Society is to promote and preserve the thousand-year-old tradition of Croatian kingdoms, principalities and banates, nobility and citizens, while testifying to the continuity of Croatian statehood, while preserving Croatia's cultural and historical heritage, belonging to the Christian, Central European and Mediterranean circle. The goals of the Croatian Royal Society are the development of Croatian culture through work in the fields of fine arts, drama, music and film art and literature. Development and publishing in the fields of history, genealogy, heraldry and vexillology. Inheritance and maintenance of the identity of historical Croatian units through the work of an honorary historical unit. Organizing support for excellent and gifted students in society. Cooperation with appropriate state bodies and institutions for the development of common goals of interest. Connecting and cooperating with similar international noble and monarchist organizations, and institutions that advocate for the achievement of common goals. Carrying out humanitarian or charitable activities for socially vulnerable individuals and groups in society in accordance with the Humanitarian Aid Act (Official Gazette 128/10) and the provisions of the Croatian Humanitarian Aid Association statute.

The virtues and ideals of royalty, nobility, civic and folk culture, traditions and customs, patriotic and patriotic love for the homeland, and Christian foundations are some of the fundamental principles we strive for and inherit, inspired by the words of Ban Ivan Mažuranić spoken in the Parliament of 1886:

" I believe in the Kingdom of Croatia, in its past, in its present and, God willing, in its future ."
